Friday Donor and Exhibitor Reception

As a non-profit organization, the Pacific Bonsai Expo relies on support from the bonsai community. To show our donors how much we value them, we're hosting an exciting twilight reception. The new Friday Donor Reception is among our favorite additions to the 2024 Expo! 

All qualifying donors and exhibitors are invited to this exciting experience before the Expo is open to the public. Attendees will enjoy a delicious array of hors d'oeuvres while strolling through the exhibition. As twilight falls, delight in the impact of the changing light to each display. Be among the first to congratulate the winners during the awards presentation.

The reception will be held Friday October 25th from 5-8pm in the Main Arena at Henry J. Kaiser Center. We anticipate the awards presentation to begin at 7pm, subject to the completion of tallying the results of judging. Each sponsored category prize will be awarded by the sponsor to the winning exhibitor(s).

Additional Details: This event is only open to individuals (or representatives from organizations) who donate $250 or more to the Pacific Bonsai Expo. Accepted exhibitors are invited to attend for free. Plus one's are not included for either donors or exhibitors. Drinks will be available at a cash bar. Parking is available at the venue at no additional cost for the reception but is limited and on a first-come-first-serve basis.  
We're holding the Friday evening reception in lieu of a Saturday evening banquet. On Saturday we're inviting attendees to join us at the Emeryville Public Market.
